Volunteer
|
As a registered charity,
TEARS relies entirely on public donations and the generosity of
animal lovers.
Being a pro-life society, there is no limit on how long a dog or
cat can stay with us, but as the number of animals increases every
year, so does our need for support from the community, especially
for volunteers of all ages.
We are always looking for volunteers who provide us with a wonderful,
much appreciated service.
If you would like to volunteer your services, here are a few ways
in which to get involved:
|
|
Kennels |
Working one-on-one with the dogs and puppies.
Includes jobs such as walking, grooming, rehabilitating and training
our shelter animals, as well as spending time with the dogs and
puppies, giving them love and attention or finding them new homes.
|
 |
Cattery |
Working one-on-one with the cats and kittens.
Includes tasks such as cleaning litter trays to bottle-feeding,
rehabilitation and spending time with the cats and kittens, giving
them love and attention or finding them new homes.
|
|
Animal

and price the donated goods, place them onto the shelves and help
the general public.

who are able to visit adopted animals to ensure their well-being
and that our conditions of adoption are being adhered to.
|
|
Collection
Tins |
Place and gather collection tins to raise much needed
funds.
|
|
Animal

to feed our shelter pets and those in disadvantaged communities.
|

| Keen Gardeners with green fingers are always
needed to beautify our premises! |
|
It has been said “the best shelter is a caring
community!”. With your help and the help of enough volunteers,
we can make that statement come true at TEARS. |
