As we do not receive Government funding, we rely considerably on public donations and in this regard we are certainly blessed, as our community greatly appreciates the work we do and supports our efforts. These donations come from numerous sources such as private individuals, schools, clubs, businesses, corporates, trusts, bequests, organisations, vets, animal feed companies.

SUPPORT OUR CHARITY SHOPS
Perhaps you are not in a position to make a cash donation but have unwanted goods which you could donate.
Our three Charity Shops and our Bookshop are vital sources of revenue for us, as donated goods and books are sold thereby contributing greatly to our monthly income. We accept a wide range of good quality goods including bric-a-brac, jewellery, collectables, clothes, linen, appliances, household items, furniture and books.
Our Charity Shops are situated at:
Harry Goeman's Centre Bergvliet (Charity Shop and Bookshop)
Nieuport Building Recreation Road Fish Hoek
The White House Lekkerwater Road Sunnydale
DONATE YOUR TIME
All non-profit organisations rely considerably on volunteers and TEARS is no exception. We have a wonderful team of volunteers who work tirelessly alongside our dedicated staff, be it working at the shelter with the animals, helping in the townships, assisting in our Charity Shops, fundraising, helping in the office, doing homechecks, or fostering animals.
Why not join our Dog-Walking Programme? Not only will you become fit, but, you will be ensuring that our shelter dogs receive mental stimulation, exercise, socialisation and some basic training. How rewarding.
