Philip did not cope well in the kennels, so was made one of
our housedogs and given ‘free reign’. He is an

dog, who would love a family to call his own!

Bentley is a medium-sized, golden tan Corgi, Collie crossbreed. He was originally rescued from Fisantekraal Informal Settlement and homed, but sadly returned when his owner could no longer keep him. Bentley is an affectionate, friendly, easy-going and gentle-natured boy, with a warm disposition. He loves being cuddled and gets along well with kids and other dogs. Bentley would be a super companion and delightful friend.

Tiffany is a small, cream Pom, Terrier cross. She was pregnant stray rescued in Zeekoeivlei. Tiffany is a friendly, alert, affectionate, attentive, gentle-natured and endearing girl, who loves being cuddled and fussed over. She is inquisitive and forever poking her nose into every nook and cranny and is always on the lookout for adventure! Tiffany enjoys the companionship of other dogs and responsible children, and would be a delightful friend and entertaining buddy.

Izzie is an affectionate, friendly, lovable, athletic and sweet-tempered little lass. She is a comical and cheerful soul with a warm disposition. Izzie enjoys the company of other canines and loves attention and TLC. She would be an amiable pet and doting family companion.

Jonty is a medium-sized, black and tan Dachshund, Basset crossbreed. He was rescued after being found abandoned on the Vasco Boulevard. Jonty is a lively, friendly, spunky, playful and fun-loving dog, who is filled with character and has a bubbly, infectious personality. He thoroughly enjoys the company of people, gets on well with older kids he could play with, is housetrained and would be an entertaining pet to a family with a larger dog to keep him occupied.

Phoenix is a medium-sized, black crossbreed. He was uplifted from Ocean View after his owner purposely threw boiling water over him. Phoenix sustained severe burns across his body! He has since fully recovered, and is a confident, courageous, athletic, alert and talkative dog. He is undemanding and fairly independent, yet bonds closely and is always ready for adventure. Sadly, Phoenix is often overlooked but would be a protective friend and devoted companion; if only given the chance.

Skyla is a medium-sized, white with black crossbreed, who was uplifted from Ocean View Township after being tied up by her owner with nylon string, which became embedded in her flesh, causing a severe granulated laceration around her neck. Skyla is an independent, but affectionate, attentive and confident lady, who is not used to TLC and has had a life of hardship. Skyla enjoys being the centre of attention and would be a loyal companion and protective friend.

Suzie is an adoring and responsive lady, who does not understand why she is no longer part of a family. Suzie prefers being the centre of attention and wouldn’t mind being an only dog, but would easily settle for a home with a confident male dog to interact with. She is housetrained and would be a faithful friend and loyal companion.

This family-orientated canine sorely misses the comforts of a home and does not understand why he no longer has a family. He enjoys gentle strolls in the park and lazy afternoons, and would be a devoted companion and ideal member of a mature family.

Nikita is a large, black and tan German Shepherd. She was uplifted from a life of neglect. Nikita has unfortunately been abused, so is naturally suspicious of strangers. Once she gets to know you, she is a responsive, affectionate, active, sensitive and biddable girl. Nikita needs TLC, understanding and reassurance in a loving, caring home. She gets on well with other large dogs and would be a protective companion and watchful companion to her special someone. |

Marlin is a medium-sized, white with tan crossbreed. He was rescued after being abandoned in Parow. Marlin was terribly nervous, but with much TLC he has learned to trust once again and has flourished into a friendly, endearing, playful and dignified boy, who is still a bit bashful and shy around strangers. He deserves a loving home, and would be a super companion to that special someone. |

rescued in 2001 and is one of our ‘special-needs’
dogs. She had distemper as a puppy, so she has a slight mental,
sight and co-ordination problem. Skippy is an affectionate,
happy, entertaining and spontaneous girl, who longs to experience
a loving home. She is one of our housedogs, so is housetrained
and used to people. Please spare a thought for this special
girl.

Annie is a friendly, playful, easy-going, cheerful, gentle-natured and docile girl, who has a sunny disposition and wonderful personality. This laid-back, lovable lady gets on well with other dogs and responsible children, and would be a loyal buddy and delightful best friend!

Anna is a sensitive and shy, but playful and alert dog, who

home with another dog to interact with.

She is always on the lookout for excitement and would be an ideal friend for a person wanting a partner in adventure.

Skye is an intelligent, alert, active and independent dog, who is wary of strangers . She is housetrained, used to smaller dogs as well as cats. Skye would be a devoted and protective pet.

Cassie is a medium-sized, cream and beige Corgi crossbreed. She was an unwanted and abused dog uplifted from Kuilsrivier. She is an affectionate, endearing, attentive and lovable girl, with beautiful, liquid eyes. She is canine-confident and is happiest when she is the centre of attention, so would do best in a smaller, single-dog household. Cassie has a few “hang-ups” which have been dealt with, and is now ready for her chance in a new, loving home! She has a doting personality and would be a devoted companion and gorgeous pet; if only someone would give her a chance!

Eddie is a medium-sized, cream crossbreed. He was rescued as a puppy from being drowned in a river, and homed but returned. Eddie is an affectionate, athletic, playful, alert, doting and intelligent boy, who loves going for walks and bonds closely. With his childlike exuberance, Eddie especially enjoys the companionship of children and other dogs. He is as eager to cuddle as he is ready for life’s adventures, and would be an enjoyable playmate, protective guardian and unconditionally loyal companion. Eddie needs a loving home with another dog to play with, preferably someone home during the day and high walls (as he is a bit of an escape artist!).

True to his Terrier heritage, Donny has a mind of his own and would be a spunky companion and protective friend!

She enjoys being the centre of attention and requires a quieter home without cats, kids or smaller dogs. Monica needs an experienced owner and a fair amount of exercise, but she is worth the effort and would be an unbelievably devoted companion and protective guardian in the right home.
